Run for the Library – February
The Don Osborne Memorial “Run for the Library” 5K Run and 1Mile Run/Walk (RAIN OR SHINE) Race begins at the Oakdale Library and course is on flat, paved city streets. This event has been cancelled this year.

Oakdale Home Show – March
An Indoor and outdoor home show featuring displays of products and services from local merchants.

Civil War Days – March
The reenactment at Knight’s Ferry is one of the best events of the year. The battlefield consists of a large hillside bordered by rocky outcroppings and a river. A great family event!

Stanislaus County Artist Open Studio Tour – April
A tour of local artists and their studios

Downtown Roundup – April
A free local shopping experience and fun for the entire family. Kids activities, demonstrations and a whole lot of community fun.

Oakdale Car Show - April
The Oakdale Car show is unlike any other car show you will experience. At the center of the show are actual race cars and teams that will make you think you have been transported to a race track. A great family event!

Sierra View Music Festival - August
This annual concert takes place in remembrance of beloved wife, mother, friend and musician, Heidi Brunk, at the home ranch of the Jim Brunk family. Cool tunes and great company!

Oakdale 10 Steer - Aug through Sept
One of the oldest roping events, come out and watch lots of great teams compete for the title!

Western Artisan Show - October
This outstanding exhibit of the Central Valley’s BEST Western Artisans is one event not to be missed.

Oakdale Quilt Show – October
This event happens every other year and features local quilters who will be teaching sewing, hand-quilting, double color quilt binding, accessorizing and applique. The event has a Featured Artist and a quilt auction will begin with a well-known auctioneer from the area. A fun local event with amazing works of art!

District 5 High School Rodeo – October

Bloomingcamp Octoberfest - October
Has always been a favorite event in the community! Great park like setting, Face Painting, Craft Booths, Exhibits, Music, Contests, Food, Petting Zoo and Wagon Rides . Famous Bloomingcamp pies and goodies form the Old Bake Shop. Located on 120 heading just east of town, fun for the Family!

Oakdale Climbers Festival - October
This is one event you won’t want to miss if you are a climber or outdoor enthusiast.  Climbers from all over the world come together with manufactures, clubs, organizations, government agencies, fellow climbers and enthusiasts for a 3 day festival that is sure to make history.

Halloween Parade and Festival - October
A wonderful community event for all ages. Free Admission, free hot dogs, games, candy, face painting, costume contest & an extravaganza of Fun!

Stanislaus River Salmon Festival – November

Cowboy Christmas Gift & Craft Show – November
A fun festival that features many vendors but best of all Cowboy Santa, who arrives on a horse!

Festival of Trees - December
The Festival Of Trees is a great way to kick off the season. The event features food, entertainment, carriage rides, games, and local holiday trees decorated and sponsored by local businesses and groups, it’s a true holiday tradition, and pure fun at its best, for the kid’s young and old alike.
